Dog playground

A very special agility course

Dogs are very welcome at the aquarium, and we have created a maritime dog playground for them when they come to visit. It is our very own version of an agility course with 8 different obstacles.

The obstacles are made of whale bones, stepping stones, planks from the old pier in Thyborøn, a fishing rod, marker buoys, an old anchor and finally there is a finish line on an upside-down dinghy.

We hope that our four-legged guests will enjoy the course and that their two-legged owners will find it just as fun to get their dogs to use the course, whether they are experienced agility users or complete beginners. We recommend having plenty of treats ready.

Dog lounge

If you are going on our seal safari or nature safari, you are welcome to have your dog looked after in our dog lounge (Thyborøn) in the meantime. The only requirement is that the dog is used to being alone, thrives in a strange place, and that you pick it up again right after the trip. It is necessary to reserve a place by calling the aquarium on 97 83 28 08.
