The ticket/armband is valid for seven days. Once you have paid the entrance fee, you can come again and again as much as you like for a whole week as long as you keep the armband on.

The armband is water resistant so you can tell your children that they can still take a bath.

How does it work?

When you purchase a season ticket, we will be taking a photo of you. That photo is saved digitally along with your name. Next time you visit, all you have to do, is state your name to our receptionist for them to find you and your season ticket in our system.

We do not have a café at the aquarium, but you are most welcome to bring your own food and eat on the premises.

We sell soda, beer, ice cream, and sweets – and a large selection of coffee drinks and tea.

Enjoy lunch in town

With your entrance bracelet, you can go in and out of the aquarium as you wish. This makes it easy for you to go and enjoy lunch at one of the town's many cafés and restaurants and then return to the aquarium after.

A souvenir of your holiday

Our shop offers fun and exciting souvenirs for every taste and price range. For example, a large selection of maritime souvenirs, kites, genuine amber jewelry, applied art and a selection of books.

Large selection of home dekor

In addition to the more common souvenirs, we also have a large selection of home dekor. For example, vases, lanterns, posters, lamps, candlesticks and much more.

Lakor & clothing

We are also a retailer of Lakor. We sell t-shirts, shirts, shorts, hats, mugs and tote bags from the Danish-designed brand. If you are looking for a specific Lakor product, you are welcome to contact us - we may have what you are looking for.

A little something for the palate

Of course, it is also possible to buy an ice cream in the shop. We sell Frisko ice cream all year round. We also always have a selection of drinks such as soda and different coffee varieties.

We also sell various specialties such as exciting spices and liqueurs from Westjysk Smag, schnapps and whiskey from Stauning, which you can buy and enjoy at home.

A special agility course

Dogs are always wellcome at the aquarium, and we've made a special playground for them when they visit us. It is our own unique version of an agility course with eight different obstacles.

Dog-lounge

If you're going on one of our seal safaris or nature safaris, you're welcome to have your dog looked after at our dog-lounge. It's necessary, though, that the dog is used to being alone, and that you pick it up immediately after the tour is finished.

We have a new address

..or rather our front door has!

You will still find Jyllandsakvariet Thyborøn in the same place as it has been since 1996, but we now officially have two addresses. This is because we have more than one entrance. As a guest, however, please use our main entrance. You will find it at Kystcentervej 10, 7680 Thyborøn.

You will also find plenty of parking options here. All parking in Thyborøn, including at the aquarium, is of course free.

The parking lot on Kystcentervej also has charging stations for electric cars.

At Jyllandsakvariet we have a plethera of great experiences on the shelves. No matter who the gift is for, we can almost guarantee that we have something for everyone.

It could be, for example, a gift certificate for an oyster safari, a seal safari by boat, trips by tractor bus or one of our many other nature experiences. Of course, we also sell gift certificates for entrance tickets and annual passes to the aquarium.

You can also have the gift certificate made for an optional amount, so that the recipient can choose the experience they would like to have.

We are ready for your visit

In Jyllandsakvariet there are no barriers making visits in a wheelchair difficult. Our door openings, toilet facilities and the exhibition are all accessible.

It is possible to get up close to the aquariums to look at the fish. Even our touch pools are build so they are easy to access. The edges are deliberately built low, making it possible to get up close to touch the fish, even in a wheelchair.

Difficulty walking

For our guests, who have difficulties walking, we have many seats available throughout the exhibition - for you to take a rest on when needed.

We offer a 10% discount on the entrance tickets, when you buy them alongside one of our tours.

You will get the discount both by online purchase and in the shop, as long as you buy the tickets together.
