Join us on a seal safari by boat and experience the unique nature at the mouth of the Limfjord. Our experienced guide sails through the labyrinth of shipping channels between the sandbanks and takes you up close to the seals. On the trip we often see two species of seals, and there is a good chance that you will meet Denmark's largest predator - the large grey seal. The male can weigh up to 300 kg. - he is the one who rules out here, and he fears nothing. Not even the visitors in the boat. Seals are curious and often swim out to the boat to see who is looking at them. The guide tells about the seals and the rich wildlife in the Limfjord, and on the way home the guide may also tell you a little about the harsh fishing life in the North Sea.

    Small children : We have life jackets for children from 2 years and up, but unfortunately cannot sail with children younger than this without prior arrangement. Contact us to arrange further details.

    Attire : Passengers must wear clothing that is appropriate for the current weather conditions. We recommend wind/waterproof clothing. Remember that it is cooler out on the water than on land.

    The boat : The boat is an open motorboat, ensuring passengers have the best view during the trip.

    When the weather is bad:  The tour may be cancelled if the wind is too strong. Please keep an eye on the tour calendar on our website to see if the tour can be carried out. If you have booked, you will of course be notified by email if the tour cannot be carried out. REMEMBER to provide your phone number so that we can contact you in the event of unforeseen events.

    Great nature experience for young and old!

    Seal safari with the Jutland Aquarium is definitely recommended! A great experience is guaranteed. Both the family's children aged 4 and 7 and the adults were excited about meeting both harbor and gray seals at very close range (20-50 meters away). The little seal pups swam to the boat.

    If it's windy, rainwear is a good idea, as you can risk a little water splash.
